My Dad is an LED (and other lights) and auto electrical madman. He makes complicated messes of wires make many things go winky blinky. While simultaneously making sense. He takes normal Charger's and the like and makes them Police cars. He is crazy and insanely intelligent.

Here, we see that he has swapped out my rear amber turn signals for LED Switchback bulbs. He tapped into the reverse light circuit so that when I need turn, I have turn light but when I need reverse, I now have additional and much brighter reverse light!

First video shows the before. Taken from about 2 feet away. This is just the turn signal.

Second video shows the after. Taken from about 6 feet away. Turn signal and reverse light sequence. I had to step back because they are so bright!

Sorry for the shitty potato quality videos.

I converted every light on my car to LED. They'll last forever, much brighter and looks like a much cleaner light (if that makes sense)

It does and that's why I'm doing it. Also, it just looks cooler. These ones are from a company called VLED's. So far, their stuff seems to be top notch. My dad uses them all the time.

Did my FRS with a full suite of LEDs. The best ones are the map and trunk lights. They are so much brighter than the factory bulbs. Inside the car is like daylight.

what LED bulbs were used if you don't mind me asking? I've seen some before that don't put out a lot of light so would consider some if these are good

Has he converted the 7th gen's Charger's LED "racetrack" rear lights so that the LEDs act as the brake lights and the boring brake lights now act as turn signals? That's always bothered me how they wasted using the rectangle lights for braking and signaling and the racetrack as rear running lights.

He hasn't yet. I like the separation myself with the running lights. But that'sjust personal taste . He does more with additional light than modification on the charger.

Do you have pictures? I'm going to do all LED at some point. Takes a lot of money.

It's a company called VLED's. We've used them a lot. Good quality it seems.

That's where I bought mine from. Great service. Good prices. Good products too. There are some pics in the interior light kit page that are pretty indicative of how much brighter they are.

I'll check them out for sure. I'm always looking for reasonably priced things that will last.

I have tons of LEDs in my car, except my side signals. The reason being is if they're going to go out, they start to flash/blink, and it looks like I'm signalling. That's a big no bueno.

I think I'm going to do my front turny's next and then my fog lamps. Oh and my license plate lights because why not?

I have some vinyl for the tail lights, plastidip for my trim and some other odds and ends... That can't be done in this abysmal winter.
